Birmingham City fined over attack on Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish at St Andrew’s

Birmingham City have been fined #42,500 for an incident that found a spectator assault Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish at March and run onto the pitch.
For attacking Aston Villa midfielder Grealish during the Second City derby on March 28, paul Mitchell, 27, of Rubery was sentenced.
Mitchell struck at Grealish around the back of the head and neck while his back was turned and entered the area of drama.
He was then dragged off the pitch after being accepted to stewards who followed him to the pitch, as well as the floor by a mix of Birmingham along with Villa players.
The FA said in a statement:”The club submitted it used all due diligence but had been found to have neglected to make sure that its own spectator[s], and all persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conducted themselves in an orderly fashion or refrained from improper or violent behaviour and/or refrained from encroaching onto the pitch region throughout the EFL Championship fixture against Aston Villa on 10 March 2019.”
