Mums Tipple expected by Richard Hannon to bounce back next year

Richard Hannon is convinced when coming into action following season Mums Tipple will leave his attempt in the Middle Park Stakes and continue his development.
The boy of Footstepsinthesand dropped his unbeaten record after failing to follow up his victory in a revenue race at York when beating only 1 house in the Group One contest at Newmarket last month.
Even though Mums Tipple – whos as short as 7-1 for next years Commonwealth Cup – has been discovered to be lame after the race, the Marlborough handler accounts the talented two-year-old to be nice today.
He explained:Mums Tipple never ran his race at the Middle Park, since hes a kick in the gate.
He has had X-rays on the legbut he is fine. He is completed for the entire year.
We will get him ready now for next year and try to achieve what we think he is capable of. That defeat will have left a man .
An outing at the Qipco 2000 Guineas stays on the schedule for Threat, who completed two places ahead of his stablemate in the six-furlong competition.
Hannon added:I think we will likely go back around seven furlongs and proceed to get a Guineas trial of some description. The Guineas remains on the agenda.
